2011 - UK

 Every couple of years I endeavour to travel to the home of Norwich Terriers, the UK, and catch up with the breeders, see the dogs and 'keep my eye in' regarding breed type. These trips are invaluable, simply to share information, meet breeders, make new friends and catch up with old ones. We trawl through pedigrees and photographs and I come home feeling inspired!!

My most recent trip was in April 2011, when I attended the UK National Terrier Show and the UK Norwich Terrier Club (of which I am a member) Open Show. This year, I was able to bring home "ENG CH Brickin Ready to Rumble at Ragus", a very prolific and successful sire.

2009 - Australia

Closer to home, a trip to the Melbourne Royal where three Kaeva dogs were being exhibited. Aust Gr CH Kaeva Right Said Fred (Imp NZ) owned and handled by Carla Day, was Best of Breed and Dog CC. I was thrilled to handle both a young Kaeva Wild at Heart (Imp NZ), to a class win and Aust CH Berryland Columbus (Imp Austria) for Patricia Bunter.





2007 - UK
It was an exciting and appropriate time to visit the UK and attend the 75th Anniversary of the Norwich Terrier Breed. Norwich breeders from all around the world converged on the venue in Coventry to talk, meet and celebrate as the cream of the breed was exhibited under judge Liz Cartledge.

I took time out to visit Lesley Crawley's Ragus Kennel. My dogs NZ CH Haywood Fred (IMP UK) and Acquest Chantilly Lace (IMP UK) are both Ragus breeding, so it was a great opportunity for me to meet and talk with Lesley.
